Nilofar Turabi

Social Media Manager

Nilofar Turabi is from Bamyan, Afghanistan. She is a student at Washington College, majoring in International Relations and Business Management.

Nilofar won the International Rotary Youth Leadership Award, completed two marathons in Afghanistan, and was an ice skater back home. She is the president of the International Students Club and a member of the Student Events Board at Washington College. She also works as a marketing intern at the Career Development Center, and is really interested in social media, marketing, and connecting with people.

In 2024, Nilofar won first place in The 12th Annual Artists on the Rise, a juried teen art exhibition. She participated in Empowering Afghan Teens: Leadership Advancement Program at the University of Maryland and was a scout in both Afghanistan and the United States. She believes in the power of education. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and exploring nature.
